Dear Friends,
We had a wonderful time kicking off the start of the school year with our Parish Picnic on September 8th. We had about 50 people in attendance who enjoyed hamburgers, hot dogs and all of the delectable side dishes and desserts that people brought. Some highlights included s’mores over the fire pit, badminton, corn hole, crafts and good conversation. Many hands went into carrying tables and chairs and cleaning up. I always enjoy the fellowship that takes place while getting ready for or cleaning up from the “fellowship” event!
This month we have one of my favorite events to produce - the Adult Fall Dinner! This year we will have wines from Italy to pair nicely with our Italian food from Limoncello. Our resident wine expert, Geoff McConnell, will pick the wines for us and will give us a brief description of what we will be drinking. Plan to come on October 13th, from 5-8 p.m. The cost is $40 per person and you may click here to register online at. Babysitting is included.
