Dear Church Family,
We had a wonderful time of fellowship together on October 13th for our Adult Fall Italian Dinner. We sold out all 50 tickets and the Upper Hall was buzzing with music, wine and good Italian food! We had catering by Limoncello, calligraphy by Pam Bennett and original artwork by Irene Campagna. Geoff McConnell did a great job as our resident sommelier by explaining the Italian wines he served and how it went nicely with our food. Ken and Mary Lou Mancini led us in a mind boggling game of trivia and one table took the prizes home for the most unconventional thinking and correct answers. We all left with heads, hearts and stomachs full! Thank you to everyone who chipped in to help with this event. I’m so appreciative of your helping hands.
This month I’m looking for some hosts for coffee hour. There is always a fair amount of food and drink in the refrigerator, on the counter and in the pantry to use to make it easy. Don’t cook? Just bring donuts and follow the instructions on the coffee maker. It’s simple and so appreciated. If you haven’t hosted and want to give it a try, please reach out to me and I can pair you with someone more experienced to make it an easy volunteer opportunity. Coffee hour is the heart of our community and without your help, we all lose out on the chance to grow together.
Please click here to sign-up for Coffee Hour.
Have a blessed fall season,
Julia Sanders
