“Alarming, Ice and Snow”
The cold, the snow, the sleet and the freezing rain all reminded us of winters of years gone by.
Fortunately, we have been able to stay ahead of the storms with regard to keeping the walkways clear of winter’s reminders. Thanks to the Property Committee…and my wife…together the work of shoveling and salting has been manageable and effective.
The one event that was not a reminder of anything in our past was the alarm horn sounding on our septic system early in the month. I was able to silence the alarm and get our plumbers out to investigate and fix the problem. Thankfully our plumber waived the fee for this visit and repair, saving the church from a fairly large and unexpected expense.
If you see something that needs our attention, please let me know. If you’d like to be available to lend a hand in our work to keep our old church young, let me know about that too. There’s always an open spot on the Property Committee.
Regards,
Ken Mancini
