Rector's Warden's Report

Hello St. Andrew’s! As we head into summer you may find yourself feeling out of your regular routine. With kids home from school, vacations, and longer days of sunlight there are many distractions. And although all these distractions are positive, you may find yourself yearning for a place of quiet refuge, some peace, or something to refuel you. Look no further than Ludwig’s Corner where you will find our little church consistently offering Sunday services at 8am and 10am. I encourage you to make the time between those summer plans to join us, you’ll be happy you did.

Here are some of the latest highlights, opportunities, and dependencies as a church.

Highlights (May)

- Outreach Ministry Partner Highlight: Church Seaman’s Institute. We enjoyed a special presentation during the May 19th coffee hour.

- St. Andrew’s provided a delightful Choral Evensong service for Ascension Day.

- Transition to new accounting system to modernize processes.

Opportunities

- Combined 10am Service for Children/Youth Day & Strawberry Festival Coffee Hour, June 2. You won’t want to miss it!

- Vacation Bible School, July 22-25.

- St. Andrew’s Garden supporting Outreach Ministries. Do you have a green thumb? We could use your help to maintain our garden. For more information contact Jeff Herrera or Carly Landis.

- Boy Scout Project, buildout of an inviting seating area adjacent to neighboring shopping plaza. Rest, eat, and consider visiting St. Andrew’s! Interested in supporting this project? Contact Rev Ben.

- Sunday School, Choir, and regular Coffee Hour schedule closes for summer months. We may occasionally have some pop-up coffee hour happenings.

Dependencies (items that impact our ability to accomplish opportunities/goals)

- Volunteers - We need you! Let a vestry member know what you are interested in. Or we can direct you to a program that can use the help!
